Advent developed a leading edge internal billing system that has been successful in creating invoices for our customers. Given our customers’ feedback on the flexibility in our invoicing options and open software implementation, Advent is now offering our billing services expertise as an out sourced option to firms wishing to out source their telco billing responsibilities.

Flexible Format Options

We take your billing data and transform it into the format your customers want. We support PDF, Microsoft Word, Open Document format and XML for raw billing data transformation. Our automated system allows an Advent account manager to simply select the billing option your customers want on a customer by customer basis. Additionally, we offer automated FTP services where your resulting invoices are FTPed to your FTP server automatically after the invoice generation process is completed.

Our invoices have a cover sheet which summarizes your customer’s invoice detail along with a perforated stub that enables accurate payment processing. Page One

The second page of a typical invoice shows the breakdown by service. For a conference call company, this might show the breakdown between Audio Conferencing and Web Conferencing. Page Two

The third page of a typical invoice shows the breakdown by user. For example for the case of a conferencing company, this might be the breakdown by conference leader. For a mobile phone services company this might be a breakdown by business user for a company or family member for a personal account. Page Three

The remaining pages of a standard invoice include the service details. For a typical conference call company, the call detail includes each participant along with the ANI, start date & time, number of minutes and any surcharges. For each service, we also include a summary along with a billing reference code or equivalent which can be your end customer’s billing reference. This feature is popular with law firms so the service can be tracked by client number.

Our billing technicians work with you to get a standard billing data format and on a monthly basis you send us your billing data, we generate the invoices and then transmit them to you either manually (via email) or automatically via FTP. We also offer invoice printing and mailing if that is requested. Our billing system leverages a US Postal Service validated address validation module to realize maximum postage savings.

We license our billing system to you. We will work with you to get the system installed and customized to your needs.
